Graveside services for Morris J. Rasmussen, 66, of Chicago, Ill., who died at Veteran's Hospital in Chicago Friday, June 22 were held June 26 at the Pittsburg Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating.

Pall bearers were Carl Doud, Wayne Cox, Stanley Strait, Robert Craig, Rex Strait, Kenneth Kerr, Leo Miller, and John Craig. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. The church service was held at 10 a.m. Monday in Chicago.

Mr. Rasmussen was born May 27, 1907, in Chicago and lived there all his life. He was employed by the city for many years.

He was married to the former Myrtle Hoops of Keosauqua. She survives. Also surviving are a sister, a brother, a niece and three nephews. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Harold Craig of Keosauqua.
