Mrs. Kay Nedeau

Graveside rites for Mrs. Kay Nedeau, 74, of Keokuk were held Tuesday, June 19 at Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua. Mrs. Nedeau died Sunday, June 17, at Graham Hospital, Keokuk. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at DeJong Funeral Home there.

Mrs. Nedeau was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Daughrity and was born and reared in Keosauqua. For the past seven years she had made her home in Keokuk with a cousin, Mrs. Emma Bridgeman.

Lawrence Daughrity of Keosauqua is a brother, and Mrs. Norwood Teal of Keosauqua is a cousin. Mr. and Mrs. Daughtrity, Mrs. Teal and Mrs. William Wellborn of Milton attended funeral services in Keokuk.

Mrs. Nedeau was a 50-year member of Lynds Chapter, OES in Keosauqua and a member of the Congregational Church and PEO Sisterhood at Keokuk.
