Harry Magorian

Harry Magorian was born near Cantril, IA, March 29, 1880 and passed away at the University hospital in Iowa City, Dec. 10, 1959. He was the son of James and Mary Magorian.

In February of 1903, he was united in marriage to Sadie Cox, who preceded him in death in 1947.
In early life he united with the Cantril Chrisitan Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rena Gillis of Burlington; two sons, Neal Magorian of Burlington and Gene Magorian of Cibecue, Ariz., a brother, Louie Magorian of Cantril; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held at the Burnett-Catcott Funeral home in Keosauqua, Dec. 12 1959 at 2:00 p.m. Herbert C. Shaw, minister of the Cantril Chrisitan church, officiated. Burial was in the Center Chapel cemetery.
