Alice Almedia McIntosh Winters was born Jan 3rd, 1878 at Keosauqua, and departed this life at the age of 32 years, 2 months and 21 days.

She was the daughter of Frank and Sarah (Pate) McIntosh, being their third child.

She had been in poor health the last two years and the last year confined to her bed. She was patient, thinking only of other through all her sickness. She has often made the remark she was ready to go when the Lord was ready for her.

She was married to James Winters, October 31, 1904. Three children came to bless them, Cyrus age 5, Craig 4, and little Sarah age 2 years.

She leaves beside her husband and children 4 sisters and 5 brothers and father and mother. One sister, Nellie proceeded her to the home beyond a year ago. Allie has been a faithful daughter and loving friend to all who knew her. Her life has been spent in Keosauqua and around it where she leaves many friends to miss a true and loving, faithful daughter, sister, and friend.
