Carol Mills

Carol Mills, 14, of Farmington died at 8:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26 at University Hospital, Iowa City, where she had been a patient for 10 days.

She was born August 5, 1958 at Keosauqua, the daughter of Jack D. and Jennie Lee Mills. She was an eighth grade student in Harmony Elementary School, Farmington, and was a member of the Farmington Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her mother Jennie Scarlett and step-father Harry Scarlett, Farmington, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lee of Stockport, three brothers, Robert Beames, Anamosa, iowa, Terrence Beames, Mt. Pleasant, and Howard Scarlett at home. Three sisters, Mrs. Connie Schmider, Davenport, Kathy Scarlett and Jacqueline Mills at home. She was preceded in death by her father.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 1 in the Farmington Church of the Nazarene, the Rev. Eddie West officiating. Burial will be in Thompson cemetery. The body is at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington where memorials to the cancer society may be left.
