EDGAR M. TABB

Edgar Merritt Tabb, 48, of Farmington, died very suddenly at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 at the Gene Thomas homr in Farmington. He was born March 15, 1924 at Abingdon, Ill., the son of Edgar J. and Grace Severn Tabb.

He was married to Geraldine Roosa Oct. 14, 1948 at Fairfield, Ohio. She survives. He moved to Farmington 10 years ago. He was a farmer and truck driver. He was a member of the Berwick, Ill. Baptist Church, the American Legion, Masonic Lodge and was a veteran of World War 2.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his father, Edgar Tabb of Berwick, Ill.; three sons, Michael, with the Army at Ft. Carson, Colo., Daniel and David at home; one daughter, Vickie Adderholdt of Johnson City, Tenn. and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother and one sister.

The funeral service was held Friday, Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Miller-Hobauer Funeral Home in Farmington, the Rev. Gary Worsham officiate. Burial was in the Berwick Cemetery, Berwick, Ill.
