James A. Luman

James A. Luman, 90, died Jan. 1, 1973, at the Bloomfield Manor following a long illness. He was a retired electrician and had his shop in Milton. He was born Oct. 6, 1882, at Hitt, Mo., the son of George and Helen Luman. He married Lena Smith, Nov. 24, 1909 at Milton. She survives and is a patient in the Bloomfield Manor.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and was a Mason for over fifty years. He was President of Milton Sunnyside Cemetery for many years.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Milton Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dale Church. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.
