Graig Smart

Craig Smart, 62, Hillsboro, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Burlington Memorial hospital.

He was born April 30, 1910, in Hillsboro, the son of Frank and Jennie Pickard Smart. He operated a grocery store for many years in Hillsboro. He was a member of the Hillsboro Christian church and the Hillsboro American Legion.

Surviving is one brother, Guy, Lompoc, Calif.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillsboro Christian Church with the Rev. Chester Werft officiating. Organist was Mrs. Mary Ross. Burial was in the Hillsboro Cemetery with full military rites by the Hillsboro American Legion Post. Casket bearers were J.M. Dodds, Rex Jannings, M.M. Doan, Jr., James Stilwell, Milan Ross and Arlo Foss.
