Mabel Pankey

Mabel Pankey, daughter of James and Sarah Kindred Woody, was born in Lake City, Iowa on April 4, 1896 and passed away at Hainline Rest Home in Bonaparte on Dec. 8, 1972.

She was united in marriage to J.B. Pankey Oct. 14, 1914 at Lake City, Iowa. To this union was born two sons, Virgil of Bonaparte and Wilbur of Lake City.

Her husband preceded her in death September 1967. Since his death she spent most of her time with her son, Virgil and family.

Left to mourn her passing are two sons, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment were at Lake City Sunday, Dec. 10.
