Mrs. Ella M. Morris

Mrs. Ella M. Morris, 88, well-known Stockport resident, died at 8:0 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at the Nelson Nursing Home, Fairfield. She had been in failing health the past several years.

Private funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Millard Marshall officiating.

Ella M. Morris was born March 18, 1884, at Stockport, the daughter of William and Mary Jane Bales Brown. She was married Dec. 25, 1906, to Talbott Morris, who died July 25, 1960.

Survivors include three sons and four daughters: Mrs. Verna Dodds, Mrs. Esther Keller, both of Fairfield; Mrs. Buena Hendricks of Buffalo, Mo.; Mrs. Maxine Shagsta of Winter Park, Fla.; Herschel Morris of Clifton Hill, Mo.; Harold Morris, Stockport and Max Morris, Keosauqua.

Also 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, seven brothers, two sons and a daughter.
