W. R. Bell died last Saturday evening at his home in Ft. Worth, Texas, after a long illness. He leaves a wife and one son, Willard; another son Harry died several years ago. Mrs. Bell’s maiden name was Hattie Christy, being a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Christy of Bonaparte. Mr. Bell, when a young man, was for several years employed on the K. D. division of the Rock Island, reaching the rank of conductor while here. He has been a passenger conductor for years since going to Ft. Worth. Miss June Christy has been in Ft. Worth for a couple weeks assisting her sister in taking care of Mr. Bell.
