Mrs. Glenn Findlay

ELDON - Mrs. Madge E. Findlay, 84, died Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. at Ottumwa Hospital.

Born May 24, 1887, at Leando, she was the daughter of Jonathan and Mary Doud Ferris. She had been a resident of Eldon since 1909 and was a member of the Congregational Church, Elizabeth Ross Chapter of the D.A.R., and the Bayview Club.

Her marriage to Glenn C. Findlay took place in 1906. He died in 1964. Surviving are two sons, Robert of Eldon, and Ned of Moline, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Streeby, both of Eldon; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

One brother and three sisters also preceded her in death.

The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Earl Menning of the Christian Church. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery near Douds.
