Robert William Carlson was born Feb. 18, 1919 and passed away at 5:30 P.M., Oct. 6, 1925, age six years, seven months and 18 days. His parents were Victor F. & Anna C. Johnson Carlson. On Friday morning he went singing to school. At noon time he was not well and becomeing worse, was taken home. It did not seem that he was dangerously ill until Monday night, after which time it was a severe battle for life and Tuesday evening his ailment overcame the vitality of the body and he went to the Heavenly Home.

Robert was a bright happy lad, the delight of all who knew him. His passing is the first break in the family circle of six children and the dear little lad will be greatly missed.

There remains the father, mother, two brothers, Hilmer Carlson, Clifford Carlson, and three sisters, Irene (Carlson) Williams, Helen (Carlson) Zugg, and Edith (Carlson) Murphy to mourn his seemingly, untimely departure but the great Heavenly Father cares for our little ones much better than we can here. The funeral was held from the Milton Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. H.F. Gilbert and the little form was laid to rest in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, IA.
