SHARP-Ida V, wife of Geo. W. Sharp of Farmington Iowa, on Friday Feb 27th, aged 26 yrs. 6 mos. and 15 days. Funeral services by C. I. Custer of Bonaparte from John 11 25, 26.

Deceased was born Aug. 12 1858 in St Clair Co., Ill. Was married to Geo. W. Shrrp (sic) April 14, 1880. She united with the Richland Baptist church in Dec. 1874. At the time of her death she was a member of the Bonaparte Baptist church. She was the mother of one child, an infant which she leaves to comfort the heart of her bereaved companion.

A faithful and loving companion, a true friend, an exemplary Christian, Mrs. Sharp will live forever in the memory of all who knew her. In death she was calm and peaceful talking with her immediate friends and relatives and desiring to meet them all in heaven. She expressed her trust in Jeasus (sic) Christ as her savior, and died in the triumphs of a living faith.

Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them.

By her request the Bonaparte Sabbath school class of young ladies and gentleman of whom she had been teacher, was present at her funeral. She also requested that her pastor conduct the services.

The services were attended by a large number of sympathizing friends. Mr. Shrry (sic) has the sympathy of the entire community in his great bereavement.
