Anna Christina Johnson Carlson was born Jan. 15, 1875 in Sandholm, Sweden and died November 10, 1963 at the home of a son, Clifford Carlson of Bloomfield. Mrs. Carlson came to the United States from Sweden at the age of 21, met and married Victor Frank Carlson, who was also from Sweden, on Dec. 23, 1899. Mr. Carlson died in 1942. A daughter, Mrs. Helen Zugg died in 1962 and a son Robert died in 1925 at the age of 6 yrs.

Survivors include two sons, Hilmer Carlson of Memphis, MO; and Clifford Carlson of Bloomfield; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Williams of Des Moines; and Mrs. Edith Murphy of Pulaski; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and two sisters in Sweden.
Mrs. Carlson was a member of Milton Methodist Church. Wellborn Funeral Home of Milton-Cantril were in charge of arrangements; Reb. Richard Eis officiated and interment in Milton Sunnyside Cemetery.
