Donald Leon Barker

Donald Leon Barker, 60, of Bloomfield, died June 12, 1992, at the Davis County Hospital.

He was born Feb. 13, 1932, in Troy to Donald Frederick and Wilda Ilene Loar Barker.

He married Shirley Fenton on Sept. 28, 1952, in Bloomfield.

He was a 1950 graduate of Troy High School and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a farmer and worked in the maintenance department at Davis County schools.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Ron of Bloomfield and Roger "Putt" of Osage Beach, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Downing of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Wilda Roberts; and a granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 15, 1992 at the Preister Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Macy officiating. Burial was in the Troy Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Pallbeares will be Mervin Proctor, Melvin Ridgeway, Larry Hershey, Leon Wilkinson and Donnie and Joe White.
