J. Keo Anderson

J. Keo Anderson, 88, died Monday July 7, 1986 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born April 8, 1898 in Keosauqua to Wyatt and Dora Lazenby Vance.

On May 14, 1919 she married Frank Edwin Anderson at the Manning Brick house east of Cantril. They lived their married life in the Cantril community where they farmed and for a time operated a grocery store.

Mr. Anderson died March 10, 1965. Three sisters and two brothers also preceded Mrs. Anderson in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Frances Anderson, Fullerton, Calif., and Marilyn Robertson and her husband, Res, of Cantril; a son, Vance Anderson and his wife, Wilma, of Cantril; four grandchildren, Terry and Lyle Robertson and Brenda and Martin Anderson as well as six great grandchildren, and a brother, Earl Vance of Orcutt, Calif.

Mrs. Anderson was a longtime active member of the Cantril Christian Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Cantril Christian Church with Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril. A memorial was established for her church. Arrangement were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
