Helen Irene Harvey

KAHOKA, Mo. - Services for Helen Irene Harvey, 78, Route 1, Keokuk, were at 11 a.m. today, Jan. 16, at Shaffer & Sons Memorial Chapel in Kahoka. The Rev. Timothy Roller officiated. Burial was in Blackledge Cemetery, Mount Sterling, Ia.

Mrs. Harvey died at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Keokuk Convalescent Center.

She was born April 4, 1910, in Scotland County, Mo.

On May 30, 1931, at Luray, Mo., she was married to Leonard P.D. Harvey, who died Feb. 15, 1949.

Surviving are three sons, Robert of Keokuk, Glenn of Donnellson and Leonard J. of Fort Madison; a daughter, Laretta Harvey, Keokuk; a brother, Glenn Frank, Ashton, Mo.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Her parents were Phillip and Wilhemenia Philhemenia Kinsinger Frank.

Memorials are being established with the Keokuk Convalscent(sp) Center or with organizations of the donor's choice.
