Doris Elaine Riley

Doris Elaine Riley, 58, of Nickelson Little Farms, Gillette, Wyo., formerly of Scotland County, Mo., died Saturday, April 8, in her home.

She was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Schuyler County, Mo., the daughter of Guy and Mary Phillips Ruggles. She grew up on a farm northwest of Memphis, attended rural schools and graduated from Memphis High School.

In 1949 she married George Dorson. She later married Floyd "Jack" Riley Jr. on March 3, 1960, in Memphis. They moved to Gillette in 1976.

Survivors include her husband Jack; sons Dwayne Dorson, David Dorson, Jay Riley, Stewart Riley and Earl Riley, all of Gillette and Gary Riley of Agency, Iowa; daughter Mrs. Ned (Sharon) Beggs of Cantril, Iowa; mother; sister Mrs. Eugene (Helen) Newland of Memphis and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Cantril Methodist Church with Rev. Andrew Rubenking officiating.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at Payne-Gerth Chapel in Memphis and the family will meet with friends from 7-9 p.m.
