Mildred Cossin

Mildred Cossin, 67, of Farmington, died Wednesday, March 9, in University Hospital, Iowa City.

She was born Sept. 4, 1920, in Revere, Mo., the daughter of C.R. Rudy and Dora Peacock Cronin. She married Charles Cossin on June 18, 1939, in Kahoka. She was a Farmington resident for 48 years and was employed as secretary for C and M Sales and Service of Farmington.

She was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church, WSCS Women's group, Order of Eastern Star, American Legion, Garden Club, Cemetery Association, and president of the Farmington Medical Board.

She is survived by her husband.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Farmington with Rev. James Rozendaal officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenglade Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington and the family will meet with friends from 7-8 p.m. Order of Eastern Star services will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
