Phyllis Chaplin

CANTRIL - Phyllis Enid Chaplin, 76, of Cantril died June 24, 1989, at Bloomfield Care Center.

She was born Dec. 24, 1912, in Davis County to Raymond L. and Nettie Drake Pinnell. She was a homemaker and lived in the Cantril area most of her life. She married Bates Wesley Chaplin in December 1948 in Austin, Minn.; he died May 11, 1967.

She is survived by a son, John of Cantril; and a grandson.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

Visitation is open.

A memorial has been established to American Cancer Society.
