George G. Dunn

George Graham Dunn, 81, of New London, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1982, at the Henry County Health Center.

Born Jan. 21, 1901, at Lowell, he was the son of John and Effie Graham Dunn. He married Audrey Lessenger on June 16, 1929, at Oakley, Kan.

Mr. Dunn was an agent-operator for the CB&Q Railroad for over 25 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Henry County Historical Association.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Heater, Keosauqua, and Mrs. William (Pauline) Campbell, Burlington; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Bigler, Tempe, Ariz., and Mrs. Barbara Allen, Cedar Rapids; one brother, Richard Dunn, Camp Vered, Ariz.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Elliott Chapel, New London. The Rev. Kenneth Harden will officiate with interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Mt. Pleasant.
