Stanley Howard

MT. PLEASANT - Stanley Howard, 88, of 115 E. Monroe, Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, Nov. 13, at his home.

Born May 13, 1889, at Utica in Van Buren county, he was the son of George and Mary Miller Howard. He married Cora Miller June 16, 1920; she died Mar. 11, 1958. A retired farmer and former resident of the Hillsboro community, he was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist church.

Surviving: Sister, Mrs. Helen Williams, Danville.

Funeral: 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Beatty-Jennings funeral home, Mt. Pleasant, Rev. Charles Comfort and Rev. L.H. Smith; Hillsboro cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for Hillsboro Baptist church.
