Clyde A. Heater
FAIRFIELD Clyde A. Heater, 75, retired farmer of 72 S. Second, died Friday, April 23, in a hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. He had suffered a heart attack March 30 while wintering in Florida.
The son of Charles and Cora Murphy Heater, he was born June 27, 1900, in Henry county, where he was reared. He had been a resident of Fairfield since 1943.
He was a member of First Christian church.
He married Ruth Kitch and following her death, he married Jessie Edwards, Jan. 16, 1933, in Macon, Mo.
Surviving: The wife; son, Richard, Keosauqua; two daughters, Esther Peebler, Riverdale, Md., and Margaret Seibert, Stockton, Calif.; brother, Dallas, Mt. Pleasant, and two sisters, Gladys Summers, New London, and Ruth Wasson, Burlington.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday; First Christian church, Rev. J.E. Dorman; Evergreen cemetery.
