Warren H. Booth

Warren H. Booth, 57, 513 Armstrong Circle, died Thursday evening, Dec. (1,) 1977, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.

He was born Sept. 29, 1920, at Batavia, the son of John P. and Emma C. Hardin Booth. On June 2, 1956, he married Virginia L. Woodburn at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

He was a John Deere mechanic for over 30 years, working at Stockport and for Waters Implement, Mt. Pleasant, for the past 15 years.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 634 Stockport and had served in the Air Force in World War II.

Surviving are his mother of Ottumwa; his wife; one son, Bradley W., and one daughter, Brenda L., both at home; one brother, Virgil Booth of Libertyville; one sister, Mrs. Warren (Juanita) McElderry of Batavia.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at the Weir-Cookes Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. The Rev. Daniel Witcher will officiate with interment in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville.
