MRS. AMANDA ROBB CALLED IN DEATH
Was Victim of Heart Failure
Last Thursday, April 16th
At the Home of Her
Daughter.
SHE WAS 64 YEARS OLD
Has been a resident of Van Buren
all her life. Funeral last
Sunday.Mrs. Amanda Brewster Robb departed this life last Thursday, April 16th at the home of her daughter Mrs. George Haglestange. She was born Sept. 25th 1849, near Bonaparte and was married March 31st 1870 to Thomas Robb to which union was born four children all of them living. They are Mrs. Ellis Van Zant of Bentonsport, Mrs. George Haglestange of Farmington, Clarence of Fort Madison and Harry C. of Seattle, Washington.
Mrs. Robb joined the Baptist Church a number of years ago and was a faithful Christian woman. She was a resident of Farmington for many years where she had made many friends. Her death came as a shock to her friends as she had not been sick long, although her health has been delicate for sometime.
Her husband preceded her in death Nov 6th 1913. She was 64 years, 7 months, and 21 days old at the time of her death.
Her funeral was held from the Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in charge of her pastor Rev. M.C. Alexander who took for his text “Let not Your Heart be Troubled.”
