Miss Anna K. Lane, youngest daughter of Mrs. A.H. Lane, died at her home last night about 10 o’clock from heart failure, caused by nervous prostration. Miss Lane underwent a surgical operation about three years ago and her health has gradually failed from that time, confining her to her home.
Miss Lane was a bright and accomplished young lady and was a graduate of the Keosauqua High School. She had charming manners and a sweet disposition which endeared her to her many friends. She was born and reared near Keosauqua and was about thirty years of age. Miss Lane was a member of the Methodist Church and was a devout Christian. She leaves a mother and two sisters, Mrs. John Wright of this place and Mrs. Ed Deford of Cantril, and a brother, Edgar of Keosauqua and F.G. of New York, to mourn her early departure.
