MRS. CORNELIA STOUT

Mrs. Cornelia Stout, 96, died at 4:15 A.M. Saturday at Nelson Nursing Home, Fairfield. She had been a resident of Birmingham.

She lived all of her life in Jefferson and Van Buren counties. She was born March 17, 1871 in Cass County, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Susan Funk Edward. She married William C. Stout Jan. 31, 1893 at Fairfield. He died Aug. 1, 1954. She was a member of the Ebenezer Christian church.

Surviving are one son, Ralph E. of Birmingham; one grandchild three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, George, of Wright; and one sister Mrs. Myrtle Knowles of Pascagoula, Miss.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Weston Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield with the Rev. Ora L. Reep of Birmingham Methodist church officiating. Interment in Maple Hill cemetery at Birmingham.
