Virginia Swain Stong

Virginia Swain Stong, widow of Phil Stong, Van Buren County author, died Sunday, April 7th, 1968. Phil Stong preceded her in death 11 years, having died in April, 1957.

Mrs. Stong, who was an author in her own right, under the name of Virginia Swain, had three books published, but her writings primarily consisted of magazine articles, which had appeared in numerous magazines.

Services for Mrs. Stong will be held in her home town, Washington, Connecticut.
