Mrs. Bertha Story

Mrs. Bertha Story, 82, Bonaparte, died at 11: 15 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 in the Hainline nursing home at Bonaparte.

She was born April 29, 1886, near Farmington, the daughter of Thomas and Lavina Ruark Lowery. She married Guy L. Story at Farmington on Aug. 4, 1907. Mr. Story died in January 1967. Mrs. Story was a member of the Bonaparte American Legion auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Gene of Mt. Sterling and Denzil of Bonaparte; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Anderson of West Chester, Mrs. Marjorie Hoskin of Denmark Mrs. Bernetta Marshall of Revere, Mo. and Mrs. Dorothy Payne of Bonaparte; a sister, Mrs. Annie White of Farmington; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 24 at 2 p.m. at the Bonaparte Methodist church, the Rev. Harold Schirm officiating. Burial was in Thompson cemetery.
