DEATH OF DON WELLBORN

July 6, 1914, Don A. Wellborn died at Cantril, Iowa, aged 28 years, 5 months and 2 days. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Wellborn of that place. He was born and grew to manhood there. About four years ago, while holding a position in Irwin Phillips wholesale house at Keokuk, his health failed. He came home and later went west, stopping for some time at Pueblo, Colo., and not being benefitted there he went south and spent one winter in New Orleans with no better results than before. Last fall he went to the Oakdale sanitarium and remained there three or four months, but returned home without any improvement. About 10 days before his death he went to visit his sister, Mrs. Alfred Cassady. It was there he passed away. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church Wednesday conducted by Rev. C. E. Perkins of Keosauqua, after which he was laid to rest in the Maple Grove cemetery.
