Wilbert Lamborn

FARMINGTON - Wilbert Lamborn, 62, Farmington, died at 6:55 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Van Buren Memorial hospital, Keosauqua.

Born here Sept. 20, 1915, he was the son of William and Emma Brickman Lamborn. He married Ruth Mills, Aug. 14, 1942, in Canton, Mo.

He owned and operated the Lamborn Motor Co. for 36 years. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and member of Farmington Baptist church, Mt. Moriah lodge, Royal Arch Masons Lafayette chapter 61, and Ft. Madison VFW, Elks and Moose clubs, 40&8, and Richardson Anthony Post, American Legion.

Surviving: The wife; brother, Sam, Farmington.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, Rev. Scott Holmes; Greenglades cemetery. Memorials have been established to the firemen's fund and Farmington
library.
