Sherman Oatman

Sherman Oatman, 67, of Alhambra, Calif., died there Jan. 11. Services and burial were at Mt. Pleasant Saturday, Jan. 18.

Mr. Oatman was a brother of Mrs. Alpha Starr of Keosauqua and was born at Kilbourn. He was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth Hobbs Oatman, who accompanied her husband's body back to Mt. Pleasant; his sister, Mrs. Starr, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Oatman.
