BYRCE C. MORELAND

The funeral service for a former Farmington man, Bryce C. Moreland, 67, of San Antonio, Texas, who died there Thursday, Dec. 29, was held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Mission Funeral Home, San Antonio with burial in that city.

He was the son of Charles A. and Viola Slee Moreland, born in Farmington in 1899.

After his mother died, when he was 3 years old, he lived with his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Jane Moreland, and attended local schools. He later accompanied his father to Texas. He was an electrician.

Survivors include his widow, Ruby Gibson Moreland, and two children, Mrs. Ken Phillips of Munich, Germany and Charles Moreland of San Antonio, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1958.

He was a nephew of the late Dick Moreland and Ed Moreland and was a frequent visitor in Farmington.
