Louie Herbert Moore

Louie Herbert Moore, Gloucester, Mass. passed away Thursday night, May 16 after an extended illness.

He was born near Hillsboro, Ia., the son of Earl V. and Alice Roberts Moore, on March 28, 1930.

He spent his early years in the Mt. Zion area, graduating from Stockport High School. He served in the army during the Korean War.

He married June Nelson from Gloucester, Mass. She survives, as do four young daughters, Linda, Karen, Lorna and Kim; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Thomas of Des Moines, Mrs. Glenn Kisling of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Henry Krasowski and Mrs. Paul Clinedinst of Los Angeles.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Services were held Monday, May 20 at Pike Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Gloucester.
