Don O. Lemley

Don O. Lemley, 47, a steward at Jefferson County Home, Fairfield, for five years, suffered a coronary Friday afternoon, Mar. 1 and died at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 2 at Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield.

He was born July 1, 1921, in Webster, to Omar C. and Ona Bell Lemley. He was married Feb. 29, 1940 in Kahoka, Mo., to Ruby Angerer, who survives. He was a member of the Christian church.

Also surviving are three daughters Judith Barker and Donna Bradshaw of Sigourney and Peggy at home; four grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Ona Lemley; three brothers, Moris of Drakesville, Floyd of Primghar and Carold of Spirit Lake; and one sister, Mrs. Harold Patterson of Cedar Falls.

Before going to Fairfield Mr. Lemley operated a feed business for a time at the Bonaparte Sale Barn.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M., March 5 at the Raymond Funeral Home, Fairfield. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
