Raymond Holtkamp

Raymond S. Holtkamp, 52, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Ft. Madison, died at his home in Denver, Wednesday, Feb. 21.

He was born in Houghton in 1915, the son of Bernard B. and Gertrude Conlin Holtkamp. He was a machinist at the Denver Post. He had lived in Denver for 30 years. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are two brothers, Richard of Hillsboro, and Edward H. of Ft. Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Bernard Rippenkroeger of rural Ft. Maidson and Mrs. John Noll of Ft. Madison.

Funeral services were held at 10 A.M., Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Ft. Madison, Rev. E.P. Seidel, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The rosary was Friday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. at Nieters' chapel.
