ROBERT L. HARRYMAN
Robert LeRoy Harryman, son of Dewey and Rowena Morrow Harryman, was born July 16, 1926, near Douds, and departed this life Friday, June 13, at Fullerton, Calif. at the age of 42. His home was at Gardena, Calif.

His early life was spent in the Douds community. As a youth, he moved with his family to Burlington, where he graduated from high school. He was also a graduate of the State University of Iowa in Iowa City and served in the United States Army. Since 1960, he had been employed by the United States Internal Service, transferring from Kewanee, Ill. to California in 1964.

Remaining to mourn his passing are his widow, Patsy; two daughters, Krista Kay and Kimberly Clarke, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Harryman of Douds; three brothers, Donald of Douds, Francis of Paramount, Calif., and Carl of Gardena, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Stanley Cosby of Burlington; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Robert was a leader of Woodcraft Rangers youth groups.

He was a devoted husband and father, whose primary interests were his home and family.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 21, at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Church near Douds, with the Rev. Harold Harryman of Newton officiating. Interment was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
