Milo B. Harshbarger

Milo B. Harshbarger, 70, died Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Hot Springs, Ark. after a short illness.

The son of John F. and Elizabeth Harshbarger he was born on Feb. 2, 1897 in Henry county and spent nine years of his early life near Utica in Van Buren County. He was a graduate of the Mt. Pleasant High School and a graduate of State Teachers College of Cedar Falls. He was coach at Dubuque, Iowa for many years before moving to Naperville, Ill. where he was a teacher until he retired.

He is survived by his wife; four children. Betty Keefe of Binghamtom, New York. Robert J. of Seattle, Wash.. Barbara Perry of Naperville, Ill., Gene Harshbarger of Washington, D.C.; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Pitzer of Burlington and Mrs. Ethel Glover of Salem; three brothers, Albert and John F. of Salem and Don of Naperville, Ill.

Last rites were held in Naperville, Saturday, Nov. 4.
