MRS. RUBY HARROD

Mrs. Ruby Harrod, 84, of Keosauqua, died Sunday, April 30 at 10:15 p.m. at the Hainline Rest Home, Bonaparte, where she had been taken after a long period in a hospital, where she was being treated for a broken hip.

Mrs. Harrod was a native of Illinois. She was born Aug. 17, 1882 in Fulton county, the daughter of David and Adaline Childs Sebree. She was married to Jeptha S. Harrod on Dec. 24, 1901. They moved to Keosauqua in October of 1955; Mr. Harrod died in June of 1963.

A sister, Mrs. M.R. Fielder of Tulsa, Okla., survives.

Services and burial were in Avon, Ill.
