Mrs. Harold Hamberg

Mrs. Mary Margaret Hamberg, 66, of Farmington, died Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 5:15 a.m. in the Farmington Rest Home. She had been in failing health since 1959.

She was born Dec. 11, 1901 at Mt. Sterling, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Chaplin.

She was married to Harold L. Hamberg. He died on Sept. 21, 1959.

Mrs. Hamberg was a resident of Farmington for the past 15 years.

Surviving are 4 sons, Glen and Charles of Farmington, Wayne and Harley, both of Port Arthur, Tex.; 2 daughters, Mrs. William Boushley of Grand Junction, Colo. and Mrs. George Garrett of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Shipley of Parker Prairie, Minn., Mrs. Ruby Haurim of Cedar Falls and Mabel Lessor of Montana; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Howard, and a brother.

The funeral service was held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Miller's Home for Funerals, Farmington, with the Rev. Harold Schirm officiating. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery.
