Man Found Dead On Vacant Milton Lot
Van Buren county authorities are continuing investigation into the death of 58-year-old Ford Greenhout of Marshalltown, who was found lying dead in a vacant lot in Milton, Sunday.
Dr. R.W. Gustafson, Van Buren county medical examiner, said that death was due to exposure.
Authorities said Greenhout had come to Milton recently to visit two cousins, John Davis and Phoebe Anderson.
He was the son of Robert and Rose Davis Greenhout and was born Oct. 15, 1909, at Marshalltown.
Survivors include a daughter at Marshalltown, Mrs. Joseph Hounsperger.
The body was taken from the Wellborn funeral home in Milton to the Pursel-Davis funeral home in Marshalltown.
