Frank H. Giberson, 74, retired Stockport farmer, died Monday, March 16 at 10:50 p.m. at Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua. he had been in failing health for a year.

Born Oct. 29, 1889, in Jefferson County, he was the son of Lafayate and Ila Turnham Giberson. He was married May 9, 1946, to Maude Neil, who survives. He was a veteran of World War 1 and farmed most of his life in the Stockport community.

Survivors besides his widow include five brothers, Willis of Knoxville, Glen, Ervin and Lloyd, all of Stockport, and Claude of Mediapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Gire of Richland, Wash. and Mrs. Bonnie Lepper of Plymouth, Iowa. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Weston Behner Funeral Home at Fairfield with the Rev. Chester C. Werft, pastor of the Stockport Christian Church, officiating. Burial was Thursday at Amity Cemetery near Reinbeck.
