Amos J. Muhs

Amos J. Muhs, 76, Eldridge, Ia., father of LaVerne Muhs, Birmingham, passed away the middle of December at Eldridge, where he had made his home all his life. Last rites and burial took place at Eldridge.

He was married to the former Clara Bettenob in 1919 at Davenport, who survives. They have lived on a farm near Eldridge for over 40 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Kuhl of Davenport; three sons, Norman, at home, LaVerne, who lived at Birmingham and Harold, Billings, Montana. Sixteen grandchildren and a sister also survive.
