Patsy Joanne Cook

Patsy Joanne Cook, daughter of Guy and Helen Fuller Harl, was born March 29, 1934, at the St. Joseph Hospital, Ottumwa, Iowa and departed this life Nov. 4, 1967 at the age of 33 years, 7 months and 6 days.

She was united in marriage to Ned Cook, on Jan. 27, 1952. To this union, two children were born, Richard Eugene and Bonnie Kay. At an early age, Patsy confessed her faith in God and was a member of the Milton Christian Church, having taught Sunday School classes before and after her marriage.

She graduated from the Milton High School with the Class of 1951, was a Cub Scout den Mother and a Charter member of the Homemakers Club. She was employed as a Laboratory and X-ray technician at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital since March 9, 1964.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother. Surviving are her husband, Ned; a son, Richard and a daughter, Bonnie; her father and mother and a great number of relatives and friends.

Services were held Nov. 7, 1967 at the Milton Christian Church at 2 p.m. Rev. Harold Bray, minister, assisted by Rev. Herbert Phillips, officiated. Burial was in the Milton Sunnyside Cemetery.
