Funeral services for Mrs. Florence St. John Craig, 87, of Keosauqua were held Thursday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. at the Keosauqua Congregational Church with Rev. Millard Marshall, pastor, in charge. Burial was in the Purdom Cemetery.

She died at Memorial Hospital Monday, February 3, at 7 p.m. after an extended illness.

She was born September 24, 1881 in Des Moines, the daughter of John Fletcher and Frances Marien Jamison St. John. She was married to Dr. James A. Craig of Keosauqua who died January 11, 1948.

Mrs. Craig was a member of the Congregational Church; a 50 year member of Chapter I, PEO and of Lynds Chapter Order of Eastern Star and a member of Van Buren Chapter of DAR. She taught piano for many years and was active in that work until her retirement in 1966.

She is survived by a step_daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Craig of Burlingame, Calif. and three nieces.

A memorial is being established payable to the Keosauqua Congregational Church.
