Mrs. Julia Craig

Mrs. Julia Ruby Craig, 86, a life resident of the Salem-Hillsboro community, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 25 at her home at Salem.

She was born Nov. 20, 1877, at Hillsboro, the daughter of Matthew and Ophelia Beaton Percival, and married Harry Arthur Craig on Dec. 27, 1905. He died in 1937.

Surviving are a daughter, Irene Craig, with whom she was living; a son, Leo, of Salem; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. A son, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Services were held Friday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. in the Beaty funeral chapel, Salem, the Rev. Roscoe Townsend of the Salem Friends church officiating. Burial was in Salem East cemetery.
