Eugene Rex Dinsmore

Eugene Rex Dinsmore, 74, rural Hillsboro, passed away at Van Buren County Hospital, Keosauqua Monday morning, May 13, 1968.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 16th at 2:00 P.M. at the Beatty Funeral Chapel in Salem. Interment will be in Sharon Cemetery, with the Hillsboro American Legion conducting graveside rites.

Masonic services by the Hillsboro Lodge, Belmont No. 541 were held at the Beatty Funeral Chapel in Salem Wednesday, May 15th at 8:00 P.M. The family requests that any memorials may be made to the Hillsboro Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Dinsmore was born in Lee County, Iowa, Nov. 22, 1893, the son of William J. and Eda Kennedy Dinsmore.

On August 3, 1927, he was married to Iona Logan at Keokuk.

He was a farmer, member of the Hillsboro American Legion and Hillsboro Masonic Lodge

He is survived by his wife, Iona, one son, Gary Eugene, League City, Texas; one daughter, Joeen (Mrs. Dale) Brown, rural Hillsboro, and five grandchildren.
