MRS. JAMES BROBSTON

Mrs. James Brobston, age 26, Coal Valley, Ill., was killed out-right in a car accident Sunday afternoon, north of Davenport, Ia. She was a former resident of the Salem and Stockport communities before moving to Milan, Ill., 8 years ago. She was born July 2, 1940 at Stockport, the daughter of Delbert and Ruth Harlan Hudson.

On June 25, 1958 she was married to James Brobston at Fairfield. To this union were born two sons, Douglas, age 8, and Ronald, age 4.

Surviving are her husband, Ruth Hudson of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Mendenhall of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Harold Countryman of Birmingham; a brother, John Hudson of Salem; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding her in death was her father, Delbert Hudson, who passed away Jan. 27, 1967.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Milan, Ill. Interment was in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport, Iowa, with Beatty Funeral Chapel, Salem in charge.
