Chester Buford

Chester A. Buford, 69, of Donnellson Rt. 2, died Thursday, Mr. 27 at 1:45 p.m. in Burlington hospital after a long illness.

He was born Jan. 19, 1900, in Gorin, Mo. He married Orvetta Spoor Aug. 15, 1927. They lived near Donnellson 12 years, engaged in farming.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Harlan Buford of Kahoka, Mo. and Charles Buford of Donnellson; a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Robertson of Ft. Worth, Texas; a half-brother, Dee Clatt of Gorin, Mo.; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Services were held Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Clement's chapel. Rev. Ronald Cochran of Farmington officiated. Burial was in Embury cemetery near Donnellson.
